2009 Camp:   Stand By Me

The Sawyerville Day Camp will accept staff members to work, love, worship, and play hard as the counselors for a day camp of 200+ economically disadvantaged youth in Hale County Alabama.  Responsibilities nclude preparation for the camp in planning meetings, and supervising and facilitating all activities of the day camp (arts & crafts, sports, singing, swimming, small group leaders) with other staff.

 

Summer Camp Applications:

Volunteer Application  (for LOCAL day staff- not an extension of the staff application)

Sawyerville Camper Registration Application (full-session July 13-17th)

Mini-Camp Camper Registration Application (July21-23)

Deadline for ALL applications is June 18, 2009.
Camper applications can be returned to Emily Thornton in Greensboro. Volunteer forms should be returned to Leslie Manning in Birmingham.

Information will be sent out about camp after the June 18 deadline.

July 10 -19, 2009: Sawyerville Day Camp (STAFF)
Camper's ages: 6 -14 years of age
Staff ages: minimum of 15 years - adult staff
Location: Sunshine School, Newbern

July 12, 2009: Camper Registration
Location: Sunshine School, Newbern

July 13-17, 2009: Sawyerville Day Camp
Camper's ages: 6 -14 years of age
Location: Sunshine School, Newbern

July 18, 2009: Camp Family Day
Location: Sunshine School, Newbern

July 21 - 23, 2009: "Mini-camp"
Camper's ages: 6 - 10 years of age
Staff ages: College aged and adult
