2010 Sawyerville Day Camps Camp Location: Greensboro Elementary , Greensboro, Alabama Save these dates: June 25-July 3:    Sawyerville Day Camp Session 1                            July 9-17:            Sawyerville Day Camp Session 2 This year for the first time there will be two full day camp sessions! We are excited to be able to expand the camp and take more campers and enroll more staff members. The campers come to the day camp at no cost, from all over Hale County, and the volunteer staff come from all over the Episcopal Diocese of Alabama and Hale County. The staff members are asked to spend a week down in Hale County, most likely at a church or homes around Greensboro. We also need volunteers from the area that come for the day. Many volunteers are former campers! All are welcome to participate in the camp. There are lots of ways to help. Please explore the website to find out more information as well as find ways to participate. How do I staff the camp? The Sawyerville staff was selected in the first week of April. Thank you to everyone that got their applications in on time! We had a wonderful group of applicants. This is going to be a wonderful summer! All staff training date is set for June 5th at All Saints' Episcopal Church in Homewood Alabama from 10-4 p.m. All staff are asked to attend.
