2010 Sawyerville Day Camps Camp Location: Greensboro Elementary, Greensboro, Alabama Save these dates: June 25-July 3:    Sawyerville Day Camp Session 1                            July 9-17:            Sawyerville Day Camp Session 2 This year for the first time there will be two full day camp sessions! We are excited to be able to expand the camp and take more campers and enroll more staff members. The campers come to the day camp at no cost, from all over Hale County, and the volunteer staff come from all over the Episcopal Diocese of Alabama and Hale County. The staff members are asked to spend a week down in Hale County, most likely at a church or homes around Greensboro. We also need volunteers from the area that come for the day. Many volunteers are former campers! All are welcome to participate in the camp. There are lots of ways to help. Please explore the website to find out more information as well as find ways to participate. How do I staff the camp? Staff members must be at least 16 years of age. That is a new age minimum. If you have questions about this change please contact Leslie .  We will take roughly 50 staff members per session. On the application you will be able to list your first prefence regarding the session. If you're able, and we need the extra staff, we will invite you to be a part of both sessions. Please complete the online application. The staff selection team will meet in the first week of April and contacts will be made soon after.
