Come and join the 2012 Sawyerville Day Camp staff!
People ages 16 and up are invited to come and volunteer their time at either of the two sessions offered this summer in Hale County! Sawyerville Day Camp is an annual free day camp in Greensboro staff primarily by high school and college aged young adults. Enthusiastic and passionate adults are welcome too! Staff members should be prepared to lead small groups of children between the ages of 6-14, play games, participate in all kinds of creative activities, play sports, sing songs, act silly, worship together, pray with one another and enjoy a week of service for and with God's children! The campers come for the day by school bus from all over Hale County and the staff stays overnight at local churches or homes. There is no staff fee just come and give of your time and energy! You won't regret it.
The staff dates are:
Session 1: June 22-30
Session 2: July 6-14
Please fill out the online application no later than APRIL 1st. You'll hear something shortly after the deadline. We do our best to take everyone & place you in the appropriate camp session. Questions? Email our staff registrars!
